You want to go to the cc instead of the four year, right? Yes, you can do that. Apply to the cc now, and get that started. Go into your FAFSA and have them send the info to the cc. Then, once yo1;8#2u7&ve gotten everything arranged at the cc (perhaps wait until you’re formally admitted, for example), tell the four year school you won’t be attending. If you’ve sent a deposit to the four year school, you may lose that deposit. But otherwise, you’re fine.
