WE, at IERT believe that a sound mind resides only in a healthy & fit body. As such, at all levels, we promote sports & games amongst the students. The sportsman spirit, indeed adds to the personality & character, which is so important for Engineers. The College has complete facilities for indoor & outdoor games like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, Tenneco-it and Badminton, Throw ball, Volleyball, Cricket and athletics. We regularly send our teams to participate in various state level tournaments. IERT spends considerable amount in maintaining the quality of sport kits & other sport materials, throughout the year. Sports & games are the important part of the annual cultural week OF INSTITUTIONS. The inter-departmental sports competitions generate lot of interest & enthusiasm amongst the students. The winners & runners of all the events are appropriately honored in the prize distribution function. The inter-collegiate volleyball tournament organized as a part of IERTSPECTRUM -2008 was won by Institute of Engineering And Rural Technology Allahabad. In all, 11 teams from various engineering colleges participated in the tournament.
